Hello! I am excited to meet you. I’m Veronica, a couples and family therapist who is dedicated to self-exploration and building authentic relationships. I provide in-person and virtual therapy for individuals (adults and teenagers) and relationships (couples, dyads, families, siblings, chosen family, etc.) in English and Spanish, with a particular passion for working with Latine, first-generation/immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. Together, we will foster curiosity about the origins of challenges, the stories you’ve been holding about yourself, and emotions that feel unresolved. Through our work, I hope your compassion for yourself blooms and you feel empowered to shift behaviors or perspectives that aren’t resonating with you.

I invite my clients to examine distressing patterns in their lives from a trauma-informed, problem-centered, and strength-based perspective, all while collaborating with you. This will involve exploring the internal and external factors that play into challenging moments in your life. When working with individuals or relationships, I value processing what you’re experiencing in the moment and using therapy as an environment to try new ways of responding. I am passionate about the importance culture plays in each of our lives, so I will work to humbly enter your framework for making sense of the world. As a therapist, I hold an affirming, systems-critical, anti-oppressive lens and center your liberation.

Fundamentally, I think it’s an honor to learn about how your past experiences, beliefs, and relationships have shaped your life. In the pursuit of supporting my clients, I bring my genuine self to meet you in authenticity. If this resonates with you, please reach out!
