Asking for help takes great courage and strength. By even looking at this paragraph, you are displaying that very strength and resilience that will help you to heal what ails you and achieve your goals. It is my hope that you will allow me the chance to be your partner in that journey.

As a therapist, I am here to recognize the strength in you that you might have forgotten or even struggle to see. It is my belief that fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship will empower clients with the necessary clarity and foundation to achieve their goals.

To do so, I approach counseling with a focus on safety and understanding clients’ stories and experiences. From there, we will work together to identify barriers to your growth and potential avenues to attain it. I employ an integrative approach to treatment, where we prioritize your goals and desires as well as utilize the benefits of self-awareness and connection to help you navigate personal challenge and obstacle.

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University’s Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I completed my internship in community mental health, where I was trained to provide services to adolescents and adults, yet found my passion working specifically with young adults. In my 3+ years of clinical experience, I have refined my skills to offer individual and couples therapy. My specialties include:

  • Depression/mood disorders

  • Anxiety

  • Stress-management and coping

  • Career/stage of life issues

  • Navigating through the intersectionality of identities and culture

  • Relationship-based issues

If you think I might be a good fit for your needs, please reach out so that we can schedule a time to discuss your counseling needs.
