Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Nawal Alomari
In both therapy and coaching, I live by this: “be bold enough to use your voice, brave enough to listen to your heart, and strong enough to live the life you've always imagined.”
My passion is to help others achieve the goals they create for themselves. I accomplish this in therapy by using strength focused techniques. Success is wrought from effective teamwork, trust, and unconditional positive regard, all hallmarks of the honest and open environment we create together. I encourage differences of individuals, family backgrounds, beliefs, and other characteristics, alike. By individualizing treatment and understanding each client as a whole, positive outcomes are that much more attainable.
I am multilingual with Arabic being my native language, and have fluency in both Spanish and English. I believe that spirituality can often encompass a large part of who we are and how we operate, so it is important to stay in tune with your roots. As a woman, I am aware of the adversity associated with expression, and I'm motivated to inspire peace with love and acceptance for all people. This provides me a great foundation to work with a large range of people similarly searching for their path in the world. While I have experience working with children and adolescents, serving as a Family Support Guidance Counselor in my previous role, I specialize in working with adult populations seeking goals and empowerment. By working together, utilizing all the tools available to us, and being transparent, what seemed impossible can now be at your fingertips.
Aside from therapy, I also offer Life Coaching for clients seeking personal fulfillment or career success. As a Life Coach, I work individually with clients to set and clarify goals, and identify challenges or obstacles that may stand in the way of achievement. We set action plans that develop on either a short or long term basis, leaving the client empowered to control the journey. Life Coaching differs from therapy in that we accept your starting point as healthy, and look onward to define critical steps to be taken to achieve desired results and fulfillment.
