We “yes-ers” must learn to create healthy, compassionate boundaries in our lives to keep our energies focused on what matters most. This does not necessarily mean we must cut back and do less-- but it does mean we must do “smarter” and “healthier.”
When we let things blur—we also let them compound and build—many times causing stress and resentment. Thus, we must clarify personal boundaries—both physical and mental.
Burned out? Research suggests, yes. As we approach our one-year anniversary with COVID—let’s pause and think this next phase through.
2021 calls for stamina. It’s the rebuild, the regrowth, the refocus, the refuel.
Wearing a mask and watching your distance is a selfless act. It communicates to others that you care about their wellbeing, too. It demonstrates solidarity, empathy and respect to the communities in which you live and interact.
