We welcome 2021 differently than years past.
It’s more than a new start— way beyond resolutions and life adaptations. It’s meaning expands much greater.
2020 marks a year of challenge that surpasses what many have experienced in a lifetime.
And thus, 2021 calls for stamina.
It’s the rebuild, the regrowth, the refocus, the refuel.
Instead of resolution and change, it’s about rest and recovery.
The new year typically puts pressure on us to make a life change aimed at improving life quality—- doing something different to get a result you’ve been looking for yet haven’t yet started.
For 2021, maybe it’s less about critiquing and punishing, and more about appreciating. We all did something to allow us to move through the challengers of 2020. How did you adapt, survive, fuel, and create this year?
Take time to acknowledge the little triumphs— the new home office, the workout from home, homeschooling, supporting local business, joining initiatives you believe in, welcoming viewpoints different than your own, expanding communities —the new ways in which we’ve all adapted and continued to push forward.
More than ever, we step into 2021 stronger, more focused, and more grateful for the little things— connection, relationships, family and health.
Take pride in all that you’ve accomplished despite all the challenges. Find your inner stamina— whatever kept you moving— thank it and bring it forth.
2021– here we come.
