Relationships
Across life we encounter various types of relationships like family, friends, co-workers, classmates, associates, neighbors, pets, intimate partners, etc. Relationships are critical to living; they help us to feel alive and connected. They form, grow, break, re-ignite, and flourish. Forming relationships is a continual process that requires constant effort, appreciation, and understanding.
Each of us forms, maintains, and defines relationships differently based on our personal needs and desires. Therefore, it is important to understand the types of relationships in our lives, their requirements, our inner motives for forming connections, and our goals for the continuance of bonds.
Yet, most importantly, to form meaningful and lasting connections with others, you must first have a solid, trusting relationship with self. It is critical to take care of yourself, and your needs (e.g. sleep, good eating habits, exercising, etc.), to be capable of genuinely connecting with others.
We can help you find a personal connection with self, and navigate healthy, fulfilling relationships with others.
“The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself.”– Dr. Steve Maraboli
