It is my belief that what happens to us in life is seldom within our complete control. Yet, we can control how we respond to life happenings, choosing actions that promote personal health and wellbeing.

As a therapist, I strive to equip my clients with tools and confidence to lead a fulfilling, healthy life. It is important to recognize that you, and the world around you, are constantly evolving. Change is inevitable, but the fear that accompanies uncertainty can be diminished through self-compassion and empathy. Together, we will learn to identify and manage emotions, regulate and develop tolerance towards distress, and explore paths to becoming more in tune with self, both body and mind.

I specialize in major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, LGBTQ concerns, and substance abuse. My practice is grounded in existential psychology, and I implement motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and harm reduction methods with my clients. These techniques help us to explore lived experiences, and craft tools and skills needed to gain personal insight and awareness into effective management of life stressors.

I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016, and have additional experience in mindful corrective exercise, the process of taking the elusive concepts of the mind and making them tangible. This has further ingrained in me the importance of the mind-body connection, and our active role in directing our personal happiness and wellness.
